Our fridges and freezers are perfectly optimised for use in DC solar applications although some of our vaccine fridges must be ordered for use with with AC power. Energy efficiency is the highest priority for DC applications. These new DC fridges offer a completely new concept. Best isolation combined with a very efficient and silent DC compressor which is driven by a specially designed electronic compressor regulation guaranteed for optimum use of the available solar power within system.

Optionally we can supply these as complete kits which interact optimally with the fridge functionality. In this case just suitable battery/batteries, charge controller and solar module/modules have to be connected to the fridge/freezer to start cooling or freezing. Some of the products are top opening optimally suited for applications under high ambient temperature as it protects the content of the fridge/freezer also while the cabinet is open.

In the case of the vaccine fridges they offer the advantage of an ice pack freezing capacity twice that of absorption system equipment. Especially suitable for vaccines against measles and polio, where long term storage needs freezing. These operate on AC electricity only and designed for use at fixed locations although we supply DC powered fridges for use with solar power.
